S.O.S. Care Inc. partnered with Three Into One Community Project Organization and offered a Life Skills Class to our population. The individuals learned how to tie a necktie & use a stud finder to hang photos. Dinner was also provided.
December 9 & December 17, 2021
S.O.S. Care Inc. had its first post-COVID Lunch & Learn training. These were mandatory sessions that served to provide both new training topics for our Sponsor Providers and as we approach a new year, an attempt to re-set, revisit and refresh what is required of each of us to ensure success as a whole.The training covered UTI Awareness, DSP Mental Status Change Awareness, DSP Choking Risk Hazards Awareness & Sponsor Provider Documentation and job duty requirements. S.O.S. Care also named its FIRST Sponsor Provider of the Year, Ms. Andrea Nathan. A big thank you to the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Windsor VA and First Church of Jesus, Altavista VA for allowing us to use their beautiful facilities.We trained in both the Tidewater and Central Virginia areas.
2019 Christmas Party!
S.O.S. Care Inc. hosted its first Christmas Party. We played games like Reindeer Antler Toss, a Christmas Tree Decoration Race, Christmas Themed "Who/What am I and much more.
We danced, laughed, gave away door prizes and enjoyed celebrating together with great food, fun and family. We appreciate our Sponsor Providers and are honored to serve the ID Population.
